First, a word on reframing
Reframing is one of the coolest parts about shooting with a 360 camera. If you’re not sure what that is, it’s basically changing where the camera is facing to show off different angles within your video. It’s super easy to do when editing in the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio. You’ll see plenty of examples in the shots to come but here’s one for starters:
Motorcycle Camera Shot: Front View
One thing you’ll notice in these shots is a distinct lack of selfie sticks, extension poles or rods. That’s because Insta360 X3 automatically removes them from the shot! Hence the clean, third person views you’ll see throughout.
For this one, just mount X3 to the front of your bike. This can be done using the Sticky Mount plus Extension Rod, found in the Motorcycle Mount Bundle. Insta360’s legendary FlowState Stabilization technology smooths out the shakes for a super steady shot.
Motorcycle Camera Shot: Tail View
For a sweet, MotoGP style shot, this setup is perfect. Use the Handlebar Mount with our 120cm selfie stick and away you go! You can also use the same gear as the front shot and mount on the passenger seat. And thanks to the easy reframing mentioned previously, you can use this mount to get shots of the view behind the motorcycle too!
Motorcycle Helmet Camera Shot: Helmet Shot
The helmet is of course a prime mounting location. Perfect for capturing epic first person views, as well as cool, forward-facing shots. Just attach to the top of your helmet with a Sticky Mount, then reframe in the app later.

Time to get up close and personal with your X3! A great position to add a different view to your videos, or as an alternative to the other forward-facing setups. Simply apply the sticky mount to your motorcycle’s fuel tank and add an Extension Rod.
